About the role
The Exercise Coach – Davie is looking for a full-time Personal Trainer / Fitness Instructor to provide one-on-one and small group exercise sessions. This is your chance to inspire clients, help them transform their lives, and grow with a forward-thinking fitness studio.
Responsibilities
- Conducting initial consultations and fitness assessments.
- Guiding clients through personalized exercise sessions.
- Tracking and celebrating client progress.
- Delivering upbeat, motivating support to keep clients engaged.
- Converting prospects into clients by selling monthly and package sessions.
- Reaching out to potential clients to bring them into the studio.

Requirements

- Strong communication skills—confident in-person and on the phone, professional, and able to give clear, effective instructions.
- A solid understanding of exercise science and human biology.
- A valid CPR/AED certification from a nationally recognized provider (hands-on, in-person training required). Don't have one yet? You'll need to get certified before starting.
- Availability to work Saturday mornings (7 AM – 1 PM).
- Legal eligibility to work in the USA.
Preferred skills & qualifications
- Experience in sales.
- A college degree in Kinesiology, Sports Science, or Nutrition.
- Certification in personal training or group fitness instruction.
- Background working with older adults or clients with varying limitations.
- Fluency in Spanish.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Flexibility to work early mornings (6 AM – 12 PM) and/or evenings (4 PM – 8 PM) Monday through Friday.
