Part Time Personal Care Assistant

About the role

ExpertCare is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and helpful Personal Care Assistant to work one‑on‑one with our recipients. You will provide support, encouragement, and assistance with skill‑building activities in clients’ homes, and help bring them into the community to pursue personal goals outside the home environment.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with recipients in their homes, following individualized care plans.
• Support and encourage skill‑building activities tailored to each recipient.
• Facilitate community outings and activities to help recipients achieve personal goals.
• Maintain clear communication with recipients, families, and the ExpertCare team.
• Document care activities and any changes in recipient status as required.

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.
