About the role
Join a dynamic team dedicated to responding to the needs of individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental illnesses. This position is available as part-time or per diem.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Location
Residential Clifton facility with available parking.
Responsibilities
- Lead groups and individual counseling sessions.
- Perform assessments in Electronic Health Record (EHR) and NJSAMS.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and maintain individualized and comprehensive treatment plans.
- Develop and monitor client discharge/transfer plans to ensure movement to appropriate levels of care; communicate with the Director of Substance Abuse Services regarding emergent needs.
- Document all services in the Electronic Medical Record at intervals required by licensing and reimbursement entities.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Active CADC or LCADC license.
- Active LAC, LSW, LPC, or LCSW license.
- Professional demeanor and strong knowledge of addiction/recovery, DSM diagnoses, and treatment.
- Working knowledge of CBT, DBT, and relapse prevention.
