PART TIME PEDIATRIC RD -HRY

About the role

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a Part Time Pediatric RD to join our team at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville, VA. This position supports the Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition team and offers opportunities for pediatric outpatient coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nutrition support for infants, children, and adolescents with complex medical needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams in various specialty areas
• Contribute to research and quality improvement projects
• Host dietetic interns
• Pursue advanced certifications such as CNSC or CSP within two years of hire

Requirements

• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or eligible
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
• Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a clinical setting

$28.00 /hr. - $43.00 /hr. based on experience
