Part-Time Patient Transporter

Role: Patient Transport Responsibilities: Transport patients using wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds, disconnecting and reconnecting IV pumps and oxygen as needed, and delivering patient equipment to nursing floors. Work under supervision following established policies and procedures. Qualifications: High school diploma and BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Minimum six months of customer service or patient transporter experience. Skills: Excellent communication, ability to maintain confidentiality, high energy levels, and physical strength to lift over 50 lbs, carry 80 lbs over 30 feet, push/pull over 200 lbs, and perform transfers. Work Conditions: Work in environments with drafts, noise, and temperature variations; handle equipment and procedures requiring carefulness to avoid minor injuries. Key Duties: Safely transport patients, assist with transfers, and ensure proper equipment management. Follow safety protocols and support patient care activities.
