Part Time Patient Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and computers to intake patient information during registration.
• Collect and input patient and insurance information accurately and quickly.
• Work across multiple screens and programs to manage the registration process.
• Build rapport and address patients' fears, concerns, and questions with empathy.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, often on your feet, assisting patients.
• Handle a variety of health plans and coverage types, requiring knowledge through training.
• Work quickly and be ready to handle unexpected situations.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Preferably some medical experience.

Qualifications

• Up-to-date on all vaccinations.
• Pass a drug test.
• Pass a background check.

Skills

• Confidence in multi-tasking.
• Quick learning ability with technology.
• Ability to type and answer phones quickly.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $16.00 - $21.10 per hour, with individual pay determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

This is a part-time, PRN (as needed) position.
