Part Time Patient Customer Service Representative

R1 is a technology-driven solutions provider that transforms healthcare experiences and financial performance. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll assist patients during registration, handling both routine and emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and computers to intake patient information efficiently and accurately.
• Work across multiple screens to collect necessary details during physician and nurse check-ins.
• Quickly type and answer phones while managing interruptions from clinicians for urgent care needs.
• Build trust and rapport with patients by actively listening and addressing their concerns and fears.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, often standing and assisting patients through the registration process.
• Handle variations in health plans and coverage with the support of training and knowledge.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent customer service experience
• Preferable medical experience
• Up-to-date on all vaccinations
• Pass a drug test
• Pass a background check

Pay

The base pay range for this role is $16.00 - $21.10 per hour, with individual pay determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
