Hershey’s Chocolate World is the most popular brand experience in the world. Nearly four million guests visit our location in Hershey, Pennsylvania every year. Our guests come to experience our attractions, enjoy dining in our food court, and shopping for souvenirs, treats, and gifts. This is a part-time, seasonal position located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, with work hours primarily in the summer and fall. The company will not provide relocation assistance or other employment benefits for this position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of Chocolate World guests while entering/exiting by directing them to appropriate parking areas
• Maintain proper flow of vehicles in and out of the parking lot
• Ensure spaces are available for guests
• Assist with setting up parking cones and directional signage as needed
• Process cash transactions
• Provide general directions
• Handle numerous guest situations to ensure satisfaction
• Greet, welcome, and provide information to customers, meeting or exceeding service standards
• Listen to customers and provide assistance
• Use basic math skills for payment transactions
• Direct traffic on Hershey’s Chocolate World property during peak times

Requirements

• Minimum age: 18 years or older
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, rain, wind, and other inclement conditions
• Maintain a neat appearance and meet uniform standards
• Ability to walk or stand for 5-8 hours
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry 25-50 pounds
• Ability to bend, stoop, and twist
• Tolerate repetitive motion of hands, fingers, and wrists
• Effective communication with guests and coworkers
• Cash handling skills
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required
• Parking experience preferred but not required
