Part Time PAIP Facilitator
About the role
The Archway is Tarrant County’s only state-designated family violence program, working alongside domestic violence victims to keep them safe and holding offenders accountable. The Part-Time PAIP Facilitator co-facilitates in-person reformative groups for domestic violence offenders in the agency’s Partner Abuse Intervention & Prevention (PAIP) program.
Responsibilities
The facilitator co-facilitates a minimum of two 2-hour PAIP group sessions weekly using the Domestic Abuse Intervention Program’s (DAIP) model of partner abuse intervention. Additionally, this position supports other PAIP program offerings and requires the accurate documentation of group notes and client data entering within 24 hours of group in our Arlington and Fort Worth offices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a degree in Social Work or related field preferred
- Knowledge of clinical intervention, social work theory and ethics
- Experience in and knowledge of family violence theory preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn additional software
- Bilingual preferred
- Completion of State-mandated initial training in 25 hours of battering intervention, and 15 hours of family violence
- Ability to work flexible hours including nighttime and Saturdays
