Part Time Outreach Worker (MOC NWT)
The Goddard Riverside Community Center (Goddard Riverside) and the Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center (Isaacs Center) are well-established Manhattan community-based agencies supporting services for approximately 30,000 New Yorkers. These organizations are leaders in providing human services to children, youth, families, homeless individuals, and older adults across Manhattan and New York City, working toward a fair and just society where all people can make choices leading to better lives.
About the Role
The Outreach Worker engages individuals living on the street through community outreach, utilizing a harm reduction approach. The role involves responding to 311 community calls, assisting with housing placements, and meeting clients "where they are at" using motivational interviewing techniques. The position works collaboratively with Manhattan Outreach Consortium (MOC) teams.
The Uptown team serves the Upper West Side and Upper East Side of Manhattan (W. 59th – W. 110th Street & E. 59th – E. 96th Street, river to river), while the Downtown team serves lower Manhattan (23rd Street and below, river to river). Both teams collaborate with community partners and healthcare agencies throughout Manhattan.

- Multiple positions available:
- Tuesday – Thursday 9am–5pm (1 position)
- Friday – Sunday Day: Friday 9am–5pm, Saturday–Sunday 7am–3pm (2 positions)
- Saturday – Monday Day: Saturday–Sunday 7am–3pm, Monday 9am–5pm (1 position)
- Saturday – Sunday 7am–3pm (3 positions)
- Saturday – Monday Evening: Saturday–Sunday 3pm–11pm, Monday 4pm–12am (1 position)
- Saturday – Sunday 3pm–11pm (2 positions)
- Saturday – Monday Overnight: Saturday–Sunday 3pm–11pm, Monday 11pm–7am (2 positions)
- Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday Overnight: 11pm–7am (3 positions)
