PART TIME OUTPATIENT NUTRITION COUNSELING & EATING DISORDER RD

About the role

Join a talented group of more than 90 Morrison Healthcare dietitians at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville, Virginia. At this Level I trauma center, dietitians work on multidisciplinary teams in many specialty areas across the 675‑bed inpatient setting and over 35 outpatient clinics. The role is part‑time (28‑32 hrs/wk) hybrid, based in the Nutrition Counseling Center at Northridge, working alongside four other dietitians to provide care to patients with eating disorders, disordered eating, and a variety of nutrition concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition counseling to patients with eating disorders, disordered eating, and other nutrition concerns
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers to deliver coordinated care
• Participate in research and quality‑improvement projects
• Host and mentor dietetic interns
• Pursue leadership and community‑service opportunities

Requirements

• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
• Specialty certification when required
• Two years of work experience in the specialty preferred

Pay

$28.80 – $43.27 per hour, based on experience
