Part Time - Outlet Customer Service Associate - Flexible

About the Role

This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining in-stock levels, and ensuring a clean and safe store environment at Lowe's Outlets. The position involves assisting customers with product selection, loading, and checkout, as well as supporting various store operations and programs.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service:
  • Seek out customers to understand their needs and assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise.
  • Respond knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions, providing guidance on projects and store areas.
  • Communicate information about stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information related to Lowe’s Outlet programs.
  • Support checkout functions, call buttons, departmental pages, and requests for assistance.
  • Write customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental.
  • Generate leads for Project Specialist Exterior (PSE) programs by engaging customers in their project needs.
• In-Stock:
  • Use store systems to prioritize loads, print pricing labels, and look up items or item numbers for price and inventory information.
  • Downstock merchandise by replenishing supplies on shelves.
  • Prepare merchandise based on customer requirements/specifications.
• Clean and Safe Stores:
  • Monitor merchandise entering and leaving the store, assisting with alarm triggers.
  • Detect signs of shoplifting, theft, and security risks, promptly communicating them to management and/or Asset Protection.
  • Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards and programs (e.g., Zone Recovery) to maintain store cleanliness and organization.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by conducting safety reviews, noting hazards, keeping aisles clear, and securing doors and gates.
  • Adhere to safety requirements, including top stock safety, reinstalling safety cables, using aisle blockers, tether lines, spotters, and safety devices.
  • Operate store equipment as needed (e.g., Zebra phone, CCTV surveillance system, pallet jacks, electric lifts).
• Additional Responsibilities (PROs in a Lowe’s Outlet):
  • Assist Pro customers in finding products, loading merchandise, and enrolling in Pro Loyalty, Pro Credit, MSH, Volume Savings, and Pro Delivery programs.
  • Process orders using point-of-sale terminals and verify product availability with vendors.
• Additional Responsibilities (Outlet Department):
  • Display up-to-date and accurate pricing and signage.
  • Process sales transactions and provide excellent customer service during checkout.
  • Complete freight and merchandising fulfillments, schedule shipments, and process returns.
  • Coordinate and support deliveries, inspect merchandise, and assist with product connections or returns.
  • Inspect and clean interior and exterior areas, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure staff and customer safety.

Pay
