About the role
We are seeking a Part-Time Organizer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about community engagement and making a tangible impact.
Responsibilities
- Engage with community members to understand their needs and concerns.
- Plan and execute organizing events, meetings, and campaigns.
- Coordinate with team members to develop strategies for effective outreach.
- Track and report on progress toward organizing goals.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work within the hours of 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Commitment to spending a set number of days each month on organizing activities (to be discussed based on availability).
Qualifications
- Previous experience in community organizing, activism, or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Demonstrated passion for social justice, advocacy, or community building.
