About the role

All About Eyez Optometry is seeking an experienced, clinically confident Associate Optometrist to join our established private practice in Downey. We have been serving the community for nearly 30 years and were acquired by new owners in 2017. We are dedicated to providing full-scope optometry, personalized patient care, and maintaining a professional, supportive clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• 7–12 patients per day
• Full-scope optometry
• Comprehensive eye exams
• Medical optometry
• Glaucoma management
• Dry eye management
• Specialty contact lenses fitting
• Performing scleral lens fittings by the practice owner
• Thorough, patient-centered care
• Confident, professional, and patient-centered approach
• Recommendation of premium eyewear

Requirements

• Active California O.D. license
• Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience preferred
• Comfortable practicing full-scope optometry
• Clinical Spanish strongly preferred
• Professional, confident, and patient-centered ability
• Confident in making premium eyewear recommendations

Qualifications

• Experience in a private practice setting
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of modern technology and equipment
