About the role
Location: Milford, Delaware. Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist (OD) to provide care in a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment. This is a clinic-based role where you’ll function as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations. The opportunity emphasizes quality over volume, consistency and predictability, administrative and logistical support, long-term clinic partnerships, and ethical, mission-driven healthcare delivery. CMC manages equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics, allowing you to focus entirely on delivering high-quality vision care.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
- Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice
- Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
- Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
- Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
- Active Delaware optometry license or openness to pursuing licensure
- Experience treating senior populations preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
- Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments
Pay
$900 per visit
Schedule
Typical hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM; No nights; No weekends; No billing or administrative responsibilities.
