Part-Time Optometrist | 2 days per wk

The Setting

This opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic model.

Clinic staff are on-site full time, organized scheduling and patient flow is managed, and there is a coordinated, team-based care environment.

The value-based model focuses on seniors, and Comprehensive Mobile Care manages equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics, allowing the optometrist to focus entirely on delivering high-quality vision care.

What You’ll Do

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice
• Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
• Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
• Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• Active New York optometry license
• Experience treating senior populations preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
• Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments

Schedule

Part Time (8 days per month)

Typical hours: 8:30am - 4:30 pm

No nights

No weekends

No billing or administrative responsibilities
