About the role
The Perioperative Aide supports the surgical team under supervision by assisting with operating room functions, including preparing rooms, transporting patients, cleaning, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Responsibilities
- Assist anesthesia providers and surgical staff
- Clean, prepare, and stock operating rooms and work areas
- Transport patients safely and retrieve/decontaminate equipment
- Maintain and process instruments and supplies as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in an accredited hospital OR setting with OR exposure
- Preferred: anesthesia experience
