Part-Time Nursing Assistant - Labor & Delivery

About the Role

Provides direct patient care under RN supervision in a labor and delivery setting. Supports patient comfort, safety, and fall prevention while maintaining compliance with policies and ensuring a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (feeding, bathing, grooming, mobility)
• Collect and document vital signs and health data
• Support specimen collection, patient transfers, and discharge procedures
• Transport medications and handle hazardous waste according to policies
• Use proper equipment and report safety risks
• Monitor patient health and contribute to a compassionate care environment

Requirements

• Must be 18+ (or 17+ with a diploma/GED)
• CNA certification, clinical rotation completion, or relevant patient care experience
• Current BLS certification
• Physical ability to lift up to 32 lbs. and perform medium work

Schedule

Part-time, night shift with weekend rotations.
