Part Time Nurse Triage Service Center

About the role

Provide clinical care during patient visits, including vital signs, health history, and assessments. Perform phone triage to evaluate chief complaints and determine follow-up steps. Assist providers with diagnostics, treatments, and procedures like IV starts. Document patient information accurately in the EMR system. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans, ensuring smooth patient flow. Communicate medication details, side effects, and procedure instructions to patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate chief complaints and determine follow-up steps through phone triage
• Assist providers with diagnostics, treatments, and procedures like IV starts
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR system
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
• Communicate medication details, side effects, and procedure instructions to patients

Qualifications

• Active WA RN license, with dual licensure required within 120 days
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (BSc preferred), with outpatient experience preferred
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus, with additional pay
• Basic computer skills and BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred
• Strong communication, prioritization, and patient interaction skills
