Part Time Note Taker

About the role

Penn State Scranton is accepting applications for part-time Note Takers. Note-takers support student learning by providing clear and accurate notes to document classes or lectures.

Responsibilities

• Attend all assigned classes and labs, arriving on time
• Take detailed, clear, and accurate lecture notes and other information presented via in-person or virtual academic settings
• Ensure notes are adequate in content, identifying key points and relevant information
• Ensure notes are legible and readable; clarify abbreviations
• As required, accurately summarize lecture notes; provide notes to Student Disabilities Resource (SDR) office, et al.
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with SDR policies
• Maintain accurate record of hours worked and services provided

• Successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
