Part-time Nanny in West L.A for a 9-year-old and a 13-year-old

About the role

A bit about us:

We are a warm, adventurous, and active family who value kindness, communication, curiosity, and reliability. We enjoy traveling overseas with the kids, trying new foods, playing board games or ping pong, and spending time together. We are looking for someone who will become a trusted and supportive extension of our family.

Our 9-year-old son is shy and creative. He enjoys Art, Capoeira, and climbing. He’s interested in composing music. He’s going into 4th grade in the fall.

Our 13-year-old is sweet, self-directed, and a good big brother. He likes Mtch, soccer, and playing the bass clarinet.

Job Duties

• School pickup and transportation for children
• Prepare after-school snacks and simple dinners
• Homework support and routine guidance
• Encourage creative play and engaging activities
• Kids’ laundry and light household tidying
• Clean up after meals and activities
• Washing dishes
• Support screen time boundaries and routines and occasional transportation to nearby activities

Qualifications

• 5 years of childcare experience
• CPR certified or willing to obtain
• Clean driving record and reliable vehicle
• Intermediate cooking skills
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Willing to take driving and drug screens if offered employment
• Comfortable enforcing screen time boundaries

Pay

$25–$30 an hour
