Part-Time Nanny for Preschool and Elementary-Aged Children

About the role

We are seeking a warm, reliable, and energetic part-time nanny to join our family and help care for our two children—a 5½-year-old daughter and an almost 4-year-old son—in Wilmington, NC. Our children are fun-loving, energetic, and always ready for an adventure. As a family, we enjoy outdoor activities, visiting the beach, swimming, kayaking, and all things Disney.

Schedule

Weekday childcare from Monday to Friday for the remainder of the summer. Starting in September, the role will transition primarily to after-school care beginning around 1:00 PM. Occasional availability for date nights and weekends is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Engage with our children through play and plan activities
• Spend time outdoors and assist with daily routines
• Organize play areas and clean up after meals and activities
• Handle children’s laundry and tidy common areas
• Take the kids on outings
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to the children

Requirements

• Experience with preschool and elementary-aged children
• Energetic, creative, and willing to plan fun activities
• Comfortable around friendly pets (Golden Retriever)
• Dependable, flexible, and nurturing
• Comfortable with occasional evenings and weekends
• Interest in building a long-term relationship with our family

A love for traveling and Disney is a plus.
