Part-Time Nanny for a two year old

Aim of the Family

A warm, active family of five consisting of Mom, Dad, a 12-year-old daughter, a 9-year-old son, and a 2-year-old son. Each child brings unique personalities and a lot of joy to the home. The 2-year-old is curious, caring, and affectionate; the 9-year-old is friendly, kind, and a wonderful big brother; and the 12-year-old is mature beyond her years, responsible, and always willing to help.

Job Duties

• Care for the 2-year-old son during the afternoon and evening hours
• Support the overall flow of the household during the afternoon and evening hours
• Prepare for the evening routine, including dinner, playtime, bath time, and bedtime routines
• Drive approximately 30 minutes to pick up the youngest child
• Pick up the oldest child either before or after picking up the youngest child
• Engage the 2-year-old in age-appropriate activities, such as reading books, playing with cars, and exploring outdoors
• Support the son’s continued growth and development through engaging play, reading, language-building activities, and positive reinforcement
• Experience with potty training is highly valued

Qualifications

• Patient, kind, caring, and fun
• Experience working with children of the same age
• Loves to read and enjoys reading to the son

Position Highlights

• 24 hours a week guaranteed, plus mileage

Schedule

Starting as soon as the right fit is identified, Monday-Thursday from 3-9 pm
