Part-time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer (Laguna Niguel, CA)

About the role

Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking at Mondelēz International. As a Part Time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer, you'll play a crucial part in fulfilling the merchandising needs of our customers through effective communication, relationship building, and in-store management.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and build relationships with in-store employees and sales representatives to optimize the visibility of Mondelēz products on shelves and construct promotional displays.
• Carry out in-store visits following Mondelēz' DSD Merchandising Steps, capturing pictures of displays at assigned stores.
• Order Mondelēz products via iPad Tablet to ensure in-stock conditions for leading brands like Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, and others.
• Maintain or change out displays to ensure Nabisco leading brands are well-represented, stocked, and maintained according to Mondelēz' guidelines.
• Ensure that sales representative's negotiated plans with store managers are followed and report any issues to Mondelēz' management team.
• Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager to provide the most efficient in-store service.
• Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.
• Demonstrate a positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in store.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides.
• Have a positive and professional attitude, be self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Ability to drive your personal vehicle to various store locations (mileage will be reimbursed).
• Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment and to meet the defined physical activities like repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs.
• Occasionally push and pull over 50 lbs, including physically moving products from stock rooms to store floors and stocking shelves.
• Previous retail/grocery experience is a plus.
• Live within a 25-mile range from the primary location: Laguna Niguel, CASecondary locations: Mission Viejo, CA.

• Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and orders efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with store employees and sales representatives.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and carrying.

Pay

Hourly compensation rate of $19.00.
