About the role

A Part‑Time Merchandiser/Order Writer is a frontline force for retail excellence. As a Brand Execution Merchant, you’ll bring world‑famous snacks like Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy!, and Triscuit to life in‑store—building relationships, stocking shelves, executing displays, and ensuring shoppers always find their favorite snacks right where they expect them. You represent Mondelēz in‑store with professionalism, positivity, and a commitment to excellence as the face of these iconic brands.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the face of the company, delivering outstanding customer service to store teams and shoppers.
• Execute daily store visits following Mondelēz’s DSD Merchandising Excellence, capturing display photos via DMIB.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store personnel, such as backroom receivers and store managers, to support brand visibility.
• Order product via iPad using Salesforce to maintain in‑stock conditions for shelves and displays.
• Implement promotional displays and ensure compliance with RTM‑negotiated plans.
• Follow daily schedules and priorities set by your RTM for efficient coverage.
• Support seasonal sales, new product launches, and high‑visibility merchandising events.
• Communicate store‑level insights, issues, or opportunities to your RTM and management team.
• Stay safe and compliant, performing physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and moving product.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license issued by the state of residence.
• Positive, professional attitude; self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Personal vehicle with valid insurance; mileage reimbursed.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and carry up to 25 lb (occasionally push/pull over 50 lb).
• Previous retail or grocery experience is a plus.
• Residence within 25–35 mi of the primary location (Ridgecrest, CA) or secondary locations (Bishop, CA).

Schedule

• Availability required on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
• Start time: 5:00 AM.
• Schedule may change based on business needs.

Pay

Hourly compensation rate of $19.00.
