Part-time Nabisco Merchandiser/Order Writer

About the role

Join Mondelēz International’s mission to lead the future of snacking as a Part‑Time Nabisco Merchandiser. You will fulfill merchandising needs through communication and relationship building, stocking store shelves, maintaining or changing displays, and representing world‑famous brands such as Oreo, Ritz, BelVita, Chips Ahoy, and Triscuit. Working closely with sales representatives, you will optimize product visibility, construct promotional displays, follow Mondelēz’s DSD merchandising steps, ensure brand representation and stock levels, adhere to negotiated plans with store managers, communicate any issues to management, follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager, enhance seasonal sales and displays, support new product launches, and demonstrate a positive, upbeat attitude while in‑store.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and build relationships with store personnel
• Stock store shelves and maintain or change product displays
• Act as an ambassador for Mondelēz brands (Oreo, Ritz, BelVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, etc.)
• Represent Mondelēz in‑store and collaborate with sales representatives to optimize product visibility and create promotional displays
• Conduct in‑store visits according to Mondelēz’s DSD merchandising steps
• Ensure Nabisco leading brands are well represented, stocked, and maintained per company guidelines
• Verify that sales representatives’ negotiated plans with store managers are followed; report any issues to Mondelēz management
• Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager for efficient in‑store service
• Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and support new product launches
• Demonstrate a positive, upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in the store

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
• Ability to drive personal vehicle to various store locations (mileage reimbursed)
• Capable of performing hard work in a fast‑paced environment, including repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs; occasional pushing/pulling over 50 lbs
• Live within 25 miles of the primary location (Baytown, TX) or secondary location (Channelview, TX)
• Available to work Sundays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays for 15 hours per week, starting at 5 a.m.
• Previous retail or grocery experience is a plus

Pay

Hourly compensation rate ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 based on relevant experience.

Schedule

Schedule availability required: Sunday, Tuesday, Saturday; 15 hours each week; start time 5 a.m.
