Part-Time MRI Technologist

Role Overview This position is for an Advanced Modality Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in a part-time weekend role, with coverage at multiple hospital locations. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures independently, preparing patients and equipment, and ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities Perform MRI studies on adult and pediatric patients, including portable and on-call exams.Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring safety and accuracy.Maintain quality control and adhere to safety protocols. Qualifications & Skills Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR.Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency.Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience (preferred).Licenses and certifications such as IEMA, RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI.Preferred skills include CPR and IV therapy. Key Duties Operate advanced imaging modalities, primarily MRI, independently or in on-call situations.Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during scans.Maintain equipment and adhere to protocols for optimal imaging results.
