About the Role

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is a private, family-owned veterinary practice seeking an In-Home Veterinarian to serve the Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, and surrounding areas. This role focuses on providing compassionate end-of-life care, including in-home euthanasia, hospice and palliative care, quality-of-life consultations, and family support. The practice emphasizes unhurried appointments, flexible scheduling, and a supportive culture without corporate pressure or non-compete agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home euthanasia services
• Deliver hospice and palliative care
• Conduct quality-of-life consultations
• Offer compassionate support to families and their pets

Requirements

• DVM, VMD, or BVMS degree
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
• Weekend availability (rotational)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
