Part-Time Mobile Loader

Role Overview

The Mobile Loader Operator operates rubber-tired tractor-type vehicles with front-mounted buckets to lift and transport bulk materials, primarily serving as a Plant Feeder Operator.

Responsibilities

• Operate loaders safely and efficiently, including loading and dumping materials
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment and plant systems
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the plant area
• Follow safety policies, including proper PPE use and adherence to health and environmental standards
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Assist with minor maintenance, lubrication, and equipment checks
• Conduct pre-shift inspections and plant cleanup
• Check systems and maintain equipment to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• 12 months loader operator experience with 980M/982M models
• Experience around heavy equipment, construction, or paving preferred
• Basic mechanical maintenance knowledge
• Proven safety record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• High school diploma or GED; bilingual Spanish/English a plus
• Adherence to safety protocols and proper PPE usage, including respirators if required
