Part Time - Merchandising Associate

About the Role

This Merchandising Sales Associate supports store operations by executing planograms, signage updates, price changes, and merchandise assembly. They engage with customers and team members to deliver exceptional customer service using the GURA approach: Greet, Uncover, Recommend, and Ask for the Sale.

Responsibilities

• Complete store resets, planograms, and layout initiatives accurately and timely
• Maintain visual merchandise standards and signage updates
• Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs
• Perform recovery tasks and review planogram integrity
• Provide legendary customer service and promote a safe environment
• Communicate proactively with supervisors about work progress and issues

Requirements

• Prior retail or merchandising experience required
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing needs
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, kneel, and climb ladders
• Basic computer skills and ability to read, write, and count accurately

Work Environment

Indoor and outdoor hard surfaces with moderate noise, requiring flexibility in shift lengths. Physical demands include movement throughout the store, lifting merchandise, and maintaining safety standards.
