Part Time Merchandiser - Plover, WI

About the role

American Greetings is seeking enthusiastic and organized merchandisers to help showcase our products in various retail locations. Our goal is to make celebrations thoughtful and meaningful for everyone. This role involves merchandising, organizing, and maintaining inventory levels of greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, and more.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders
• Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations
• Maintain an organized backroom area
• Other inventory tasks as needed
• Communicate with management about service or schedule issues
• Utilize effective time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced retail environment
• Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime business hours
• Occasionally assist with store resets, including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal
• Review and plan your weekly service schedule and workload using a company-issued tablet
• Work independently and with a team

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation and internet
• Technological competency to use a company-issued tablet for training and daily activities
• Meet scheduling needs, including occasional weekends and major holiday periods
• Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, squat, and use a stepstool

Pay

The starting pay is $13.50 per hour. Increases occur after 6 months ($14.30) and 1 year ($15.00) of employment. These rates are subject to change based on work location.

Schedule

The weekly average hours are 6 hours per week. Hours may increase to an average of 12 hours per week around holidays.
