About the role

American Greetings is seeking a Merchandiser to help showcase our product in various retail locations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and time management skills to manage inventory and display products.

Responsibilities

  • Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders
  • Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations
  • Maintain an organized backroom area
  • Other inventory tasks as needed
  • Communicate with management about service or schedule issues
  • Utilize effective time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime business hours
  • Occasionally assist with store resets as needed
  • Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company-issued tablet

Requirements

  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Access to reliable transportation and internet
  • Technological competency to use company-issued tablet for training and daily activities
  • Meet scheduling needs, including weekends and major holiday periods

Qualifications

  • 18 years or older
  • Experience not necessary; training provided

Pay & Schedule

The starting pay is $11.70 per hour with increases to $12.40 after 6 months and $13.00 after 1 year. Flexible work scheduling is offered. 401(k) with company match is provided.

Route and Schedule

The route services 314 Sgt Prentiss Dr, Natchez, MS, 39120. Weekly average hours are 4, increasing to 8 around holidays. Ideal candidates are available during daytime hours, particularly Monday mornings.

Physical Demands

You will be working on the sales floor and backstock room. Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 40 pounds is required. Standing, walking, stooping, and squatting throughout the workday are also necessary. A stepstool may be used for some tasks.
