Part Time Merchandiser - Morehead, KY

About the role

American Greetings is seeking enthusiastic and organized merchandisers to help showcase and manage our celebrations products in various retail locations. Our goal is to make every moment special through thoughtful gifts and decorations.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders
• Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations
• Maintain an organized backroom area
• Other inventory tasks as needed
• Communicate with management about service or schedule issues
• Utilize effective time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced retail environment
• Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime business hours
• Occasionally assist with store resets, including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal
• Review and plan your weekly service schedule and workload using a company-issued tablet

Requirements

• No prior experience necessary, as we provide comprehensive training
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation and internet
• Technological competency to use a company-issued tablet for training and daily activities
• Flexible availability, including weekends and major holiday periods

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits

We offer competitive pay starting at $12.60 per hour with increases after 6 and 12 months of employment. We also provide paid training, a 401(k) with company match, and flexible work scheduling.

Pay

The starting pay is $12.60 per hour with increases to $13.30 after 6 months and $14.00 after 1 year of employment. Schedules can vary around holidays.

Schedule

The weekly average hours are 5 hours, which may increase to 15 hours around holidays. Routes include 12 different retail locations in Kentucky.
