Part Time Merchandiser - Mooresville, NC

Pay

• Starting pay is $12.20 per hour with two increases during the first year of employment (rates subject to change based on work location)
• After 6 months: $12.90 per hour
• After 1 year: $13.50 per hour

Route and Schedule

• Route services retail locations at: 169 Norman Station Blvd, Mooresville, NC, 28117; 966 E Iredell; 621 N Main St Port City S/C; 1342 Shearers Rd; 221 Norman Station Blvd Ste R Suite Dd; and 1339 Shearers Rd
• Weekly average hours: 14 hours per week
• Weekly hours may increase to an average of 22 hours around holidays
• Ideal candidate available during daytime hours and specifically Monday mornings due to store needs and service

Primary Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders, displaying product within greeting card departments and other retail locations, maintaining organized backroom areas, and other inventory tasks as needed
• Communicate with management any questions or concerns regarding service or schedules
• Work in fast-paced retail environment utilizing effective time management and organizational skills
• Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime retail business hours
• Availability for additional working days and extended hours leading up to and immediately following major holidays
• Provide occasional assistance with store resets which may include minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal as requested
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload in assigned stores, utilizing company-issued tablet
• Ability to work independently and with a team

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English required
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation as most routes have multiple retail locations
• Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates
• Technological competency – able to learn and use company provided tablet for training and daily activities/tasks
• Meet scheduling needs – occasional weekends, the day before and after major holidays as needed (Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas)

Physical Demands

• Work on sales floor as well as back stock room
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and fixtures up to 40 pounds throughout sales floor and backrooms
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and squat throughout workday
• Stepstool may be used to complete some tasks
