Part Time Merchandiser - Lehi, UT

About the role

American Greetings is seeking a Merchandiser to help showcase our celebrations products, including greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, and more. This role involves independent service of retail locations, merchandising, organizing product orders, and managing inventory.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders
• Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations
• Maintain an organized backroom area
• Other inventory tasks as needed
• Communicate with management about service or schedule issues
• Utilize effective time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced retail environment
• Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime business hours
• Occasionally assist with store resets, including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal
• Review and plan your weekly service schedule and workload using a company-issued tablet
• Work independently and with a team

Requirements

• No prior experience necessary, as training will be provided
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation and internet
• Technological competency to use a company-issued tablet for training and daily activities
• Meet scheduling needs, including occasional weekends and major holiday periods

Qualifications

• Physical demands include standing, walking, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 40 pounds throughout the workday
• The ability to work on your own and with a team

Pay and Benefits

The starting pay is $13.50 per hour with increases to $14.30 after 6 months and $15.00 after 1 year of employment. We offer flexible work scheduling and a 401(k) with company match.

Schedule

The weekly average hours are 2 hours per week, which may increase to an average of 5 hours per week around holidays. The route services the following retail locations at: 3808 W Hardman Way, Lehi, UT 84043.
