About the role
The Part-Time Merchandiser will support the OS Wine Sales Team by servicing multiple accounts between Grayling and Gaylord. This role involves timely stocking, product handling, and effective placement of GLWAS merchandise in assigned retail accounts.
Responsibilities
- Stock and handle GLWAS merchandise in retail accounts.
- Collaborate with store personnel to optimize shelf product placement and in-store displays.
- Assess the effectiveness of product displays and display locations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and keep company vehicle clean and organized.
- Build displays and manage GLWAS product conditions within stores.
- Work with District Managers and Area Managers to address product out-of-stocks.
- Manage territory by running workdays according to plan, using reports/forms, and communicating daily with management.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Field-based role with daily travel in all weather conditions.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and climbing.
- Lifting, stacking, moving, and rotating items up to 50 pounds without handles.
- Pushing and pulling carts with up to 100 pounds of force.
- Operating warehouse equipment as needed.
Schedule
Part-time position with up to 28 hours per week. Daytime hours vary Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend hours may be required based on holiday schedules and business needs.
Pay & Benefits
- $17.00 per hour.

Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
- Basic competency with iOS devices.
- 2 years of sales experience (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

- Cooperate with all management and staff.
- Follow Michigan Liquor Control Commission (MLCC) rules and regulations.
- Use alcohol responsibly during business activities.
- Pass pre-employment screenings, including background check, physical evaluation, agility test, and drug screen.
