Part Time Merchandiser Evenings (Bladen and Columbus Counties)

Job Description

Mercandises products, which includes stocking shelves, rotating shelved product, setting up displays, cooler stocking/rotation, storage room organization, and movement of products from storage to the sales floor.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Merchants store shelving, coolers, and displays with Pepsi products in accounts assigned by a supervisor.
• Maintains backroom stock in a neat and orderly condition.
• Communicates issues to supervisor and co-workers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Retail industry work experience preferred.
• The ability to adapt to a constantly-changing environment.
• Customer service skills required.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good math skills.
• The ability to work under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work under pressure and without direct supervision.
• The ability to work with good driving habits.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• The ability to meet PBV driving qualifications.
• The ability to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.

Mental Functions

• Repetitive job requiring frequent, but nor more than normal mental or visual effort or alertness.
• Physical Functions: Constantly (67%-100%) required to stand, lift up to 85 pounds, load, and push/pull 300 – 2400 pounds with the assistance of a pallet jack; as well as bend, reach and squat while merchandising and moving products.
• Frequently (34%-66%) required to walk.
• Occasionally (0%-33%) required to sit.
