Part Time Merchandiser - Dallas, TX

About the role

American Greetings is seeking a Merchandiser to help showcase our product offerings and support our mission of making the world a more thoughtful and caring place. The role involves independent service of retail locations, merchandising, organizing product orders, and managing inventory.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders
• Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations
• Maintain an organized backroom area
• Other inventory tasks as needed
• Communicate with management about service or schedule issues
• Utilize effective time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced retail environment
• Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime business hours
• Occasionally assist with store resets, including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company-issued tablet

Requirements

• No prior experience necessary, as training will be provided
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation and internet
• Technological competency to use a company-issued tablet for training and daily activities
• Ability to meet scheduling needs, including weekends and major holiday periods

Pay and Schedule

The starting pay is $14.00 per hour, with increases to $14.80 after 6 months and $15.50 after 1 year of employment. Hours may vary around holidays, averaging 7 hours per week but potentially increasing to 18 hours.
