Part Time Merchandiser - Chelan, WA

About the role

American Greetings is seeking a Merchandiser to help showcase our product in various retail locations. The role involves merchandising and organizing product orders, displaying products, maintaining inventory levels, and providing support to retail store associates.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders
• Displaying product within greeting card departments and other retail locations
• Maintaining an organized backroom area
• Other inventory tasks as needed
• Communicate with management about service or schedule issues
• Utilize effective time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced retail environment
• Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime business hours
• Occasionally assist with store resets, including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal as requested
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company-issued tablet

Requirements

• No prior experience necessary, training provided
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation and internet
• Technological competency to use company-issued tablet for training and daily activities
• Meet scheduling needs, including occasional weekends and major holiday periods

Qualifications

• Physical demands include standing, walking, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 40 pounds, and using a stepstool

Pay & Schedule

The starting pay is $17.50 per hour with increases to $18.60 after 6 months and $19.50 after 1 year. Flexible work scheduling is offered.
