Part Time Merchandiser - Bismarck, ND

About the role

As a Merchandiser with American Greetings, you play a crucial role in our mission to help people celebrate holidays and special moments by showcasing our products.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders
• Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations
• Maintain an organized backroom area
• Other inventory tasks as needed
• Communicate with management about service or schedule issues
• Utilize effective time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced retail environment
• Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime business hours
• Occasionally assist with store resets, including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal
• Review and plan your weekly service schedule and workload using a company-issued tablet
• Work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation and internet
• Technological competency to use a company-issued tablet for training and daily activities
• Meet scheduling needs, including occasional weekends and major holiday periods
• Physical abilities to stand, walk, stoop, squat, and use a stepstool

Pay and Schedule

• Starting pay is $15.30 per hour, increasing to $16.20 after 6 months and $17.00 after 1 year
