Part Time Merchandiser

American Greetings is a global leader in the Celebrations marketplace. As a Merchandiser you will help people celebrate holidays, each other, and life’s special moments by displaying and maintaining inventory of greeting cards, gift‑wrap accessories, party goods, plush items, and more across various retail locations.

Pay

• Starting pay: $15.80 per hour (subject to change based on work location).
• After 6 months: $16.70 per hour.
• After 1 year: $17.50 per hour.

Schedule

• Flexible work scheduling.
• Average of 5 hours per week, increasing to about 10 hours per week around holidays.
• Occasional weekends and the day before/after major holidays (e.g., Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas).
• Route serves multiple retail locations in Park City, UT (1725 Uinta Way; 1760 Park Ave; 3151 W Kilby Rd).

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display products within greeting‑card departments and other retail locations.
• Maintain organized back‑room areas and perform inventory tasks as needed.
• Communicate with management about service or schedule questions/concerns.
• Work in a fast‑paced retail environment using effective time‑management and organizational skills.
• Partner with retail store associates and management during daytime business hours.
• Provide occasional assistance with store resets, minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal.
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company‑issued tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation).
• Access to reliable transportation for multiple retail locations.
• Access to reliable internet for receiving job information and updates.
• Technological competency – able to learn and use a company‑provided tablet.
• Availability for occasional weekends and extended hours around major holidays.

Physical Demands

• Work on sales floor and back‑stock room; push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and fixtures up to 40 pounds.
• Stand, walk, stoop, and squat throughout the workday; use a stepstool as needed.
