Part Time Merchandiser Associate

About the Role

The Merchandiser Associate ensures our products are merchandised to established standards, driving company sales and profits. This role involves handling, stocking, and organizing alcohol products in retail locations.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and display all products to established standards (e.g., coolers, vendors).
• Adhere to all company policies, standards, and procedures, including OSHA, safety requirements, AIB, Pepsi standards, and Federal/State/Local laws; wear required personal protective equipment.
• Communicate with retailers and Pepsi management on pricing, products, programs, and store-related issues.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized backroom at retailer locations according to established standards.
• Train employees on merchandiser job duties in accordance with established standards.
• Assist and/or fill in for the Account Manager by ordering the appropriate amount of product to meet customer needs.
• Complete time-off requests, daily reports, and other required paperwork according to established standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of pricing, customer information, and other sensitive data.
• Work with the Account Manager and Store Management to identify opportunities to increase sales and profitability through POS materials, price/value communication, and securing displays.
• Communicate with co-workers about merchandising situations to maintain customer service standards.
• Work assigned schedule, exhibit regular and predictable attendance, and work overtime as required.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6–12 months prior grocery merchandising or stocking experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of employment.
• Ability to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50–100 lbs manually and up to 2000 lbs mechanically.
