Part-time Merchandise Warehouse Associate

The Carolina Hurricanes are seeking a Warehouse Associate to assist with order fulfillment and processing merchandise products. This position will report to the Distribution Manager and work closely with the retail management staff. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented with a keen ability to solve problems and self-motivate. Responsibilities Assist with unloading of products from carrier trucksInspect products for damages or discrepancies and communicate issues to the Distribution MangerAssist with counting & receiving of incoming merchandiseAccurately price and label products as neededContinually organizing product shelving and keeping up with an organized warehouse processAssist with pulling products for order fulfillment for CarolinaProShop.com Assist with pulling products for restocking of Carolina Pro Shop storesAssist with packaging and shipping online orders for CarolinaProShop.comMaintain speed and accuracy metrics while following packaging and shipping guidelinesAssist with inventory and cycle counts of products to ensure accurate inventory levels are metMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentOther duties as assigned Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics environment preferred.Basic computer literacy preferred; experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.Some experience with ExcelAbility to stand and/or walk for long periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. on occasion, perform heavy pushing/pulling of product.Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, scanners, and label printersAbility to handle tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced atmosphereStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong communication skills Positive team attitude and willingness to adaptMust pass a criminal background checkMust have reliable transportation to warehouse location Starting Pay is $13.00/hour Hurricanes Holding, LLC reserves the right to change or modify the employee's job description whether orally or in writing, at any time during the employment relationship.
