Part Time Merchandise Manager

About the Role

Lead and support inventory management and merchandising standards to provide a well-merchandised and in-stock store for customers. Assist customers in finding products and deliver friendly customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Manage and support truck processes, ensuring standards are met and KPIs are achieved for both you and your team.
• Manage, execute, and support the planogram process (POGs) to standard.
• Manage, execute, and support the AD set processes.
• Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Maintain seasonal sets and feature space to visual merchandising standards.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and training new team members; support talent development and performance management activities.
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, promoting the organization’s vision and values.
• Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Retail merchandising and customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to move throughout the store, including regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.
• Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.

Work Environment

• Public retail store setting with climate-controlled public areas; some stock rooms may not be climate controlled.
• Some outdoor work, such as retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks.
• Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press.
• Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Pay

Total Base Pay Range for this position: $17.00 - $22.70 per hour. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation in accordance with state and local laws.
