Part Time - Merchandise Handler

About the role

This position involves handling and moving merchandise within a distribution environment, including lifting full cases weighing up to 50 pounds, operating equipment, and ensuring accurate order processing.

Responsibilities

• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Utilize basic math to verify quantities and complete paperwork.
• Operate Warehouse Management System (WMS), RF scanners, and other equipment.
• Inspect products for quality and accuracy.
• Use motorized and manual equipment to move merchandise.
• Maintain documentation to facilitate merchandise flow.
• Assist with various tasks across departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in distribution or warehouse environments is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, and climbing.
• Flexible to adapt to different assignments, locations, and overtime.
• Strong teamwork, attention to safety, and adherence to OSHA protocols.
