Part Time Merchandise Associate-Weekends a Must

About the role

Marshalls, part of TJX Companies, is seeking team members who will deliver a highly satisfied customer experience, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and uphold operational, merchandise, and loss‑prevention standards. The position may involve cross‑training in multiple store areas to support business needs and contributes to a positive store culture built on honesty, integrity, and respect.

Responsibilities

• Engage and interact with all customers, embodying customer experience principles and philosophy.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment and adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss‑prevention standards.
• Be cross‑trained to work in multiple areas of the store as needed.
• Role‑model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases/returns and count change according to established procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and assist with overall store cleanliness.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink‑reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay

Starting pay range: $16.25 to $16.75 per hour (actual starting pay determined by skills, qualifications, and experience).
