Part-time position supporting the Twilight Alternative High School Program at the Long Beach location.
About the role
Mathematics teacher needed on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 - 6:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Deliver New York State standards-aligned instruction in Geometry and Algebra/Trigonometry
- Differentiate lessons and incorporate diverse teaching methods to meet the varying needs of all students
- Utilize instructional technology to deliver engaging instruction
Requirements
- New York State Education Department (NYSED) Certification: Mathematics (Grades 7-12)
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills
Pay
$82.28 per hour
