Part-Time Math Tutor (5 hrs/week)

About the Role
As a remote Math Tutor, you will manage a small caseload of middle or high school students, providing high-dosage, high-impact tutoring through daily individualized instruction. You will implement Saga’s proprietary curriculum, serve as a mentor, and build strong relationships with students to support their academic and social development.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily math tutoring to an assigned caseload of students during multiple class periods
- Develop lesson plans and prepare for tutoring sessions using Saga’s curriculum
- Input and analyze student data to differentiate instruction and adapt lesson plans
- Maintain attendance records, monitor academic progress, and provide feedback
- Navigate and troubleshoot hardware and software technology issues
- Develop student incentives, trackers, and recognition systems
- Proactively check and respond to emails and Slack daily
- Consult regularly with your Client Relationship Manager or Director of District Partnerships
- Participate in observation, feedback sessions, weekly reflections, and professional development
- Build strong relationships with students to set expectations and manage behavior
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and the community
- Engage in additional duties as assigned by your Client Relationship Manager or school site
- Maintain ongoing communication with classroom teachers and attend planning sessions

Requirements
- Authorized to work in the U.S. and reside within the 50 states during employment (no visa sponsorship provided)
- Age 18 or over with a high school diploma or GED
- Must clear a Criminal History Check and other security/health requirements set by Saga and the school district
Schedule
Part-time, remote position. Tutoring hours are Monday–Thursday, 2:00–3:15 PM CT. The role runs from September 8, 2026, to June 11, 2027.
Pay
$18 per hour.
