Position Overview

The Mathnasium Instructor is responsible for delivering math instruction using the Mathnasium Method, fostering a positive learning atmosphere, and building students' confidence and self-esteem.

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

• Availability to work a minimum of 6-10 hours per week, with flexibility in scheduling

Responsibilities

• Implement the Mathnasium Method and teaching strategies
• Maintain availability for work at Mathnasium
• Strive to become a skilled and effective instructor
• Attend staff meetings regularly
• Teach in a way that resonates with students
• Provide encouragement and constructive feedback
• Support administrative tasks and maintain center cleanliness

Hours

• Open Monday - Thursday from 3pm - 8pm (hours vary by location)
• Saturday from 10am - 2pm (some locations), 1pm - 5pm (online)
• Sunday from 1pm - 6pm (hours vary by location)
• Staff meetings usually held Sundays, approximately every 4-6 weeks

Compensation Details

Hourly wage ranging from 17-18 hours per week, depending on the location and schedule.
