Part Time Massage Therapist

About the role

Spa Brezza, located at the Hilton San Diego Resort and Spa on Mission Bay, offers a global cross‑cultural spa experience drawing from Indonesian, Thai, and Indian traditions. All services are custom‑designed blends of ancient royal spa rituals. The 7,500 sq ft facility includes 9 treatment rooms, a fitness center, retail boutique, and a full hair and nail salon.

Responsibilities

• Create a full‑service healing environment that incorporates local resources and exotic imported healing rituals to pamper, protect, and purify guests.
• Interact with guests and team members, providing a safe and secure environment.
• Perform a variety of massage techniques (Swedish, deep tissue, etc.) and deliver multiple massages per shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of treatment rooms and equipment.
• Communicate effectively, stay organized, and demonstrate honesty and a desire to care for others.

Requirements

• Current Massage Therapist License from the City of San Diego and/or certification from the California Massage Therapy Council.
• 2+ years of hands‑on massage experience.
• Experience in a full‑service hotel setting, preferably an upscale independent hotel.
• Familiarity with various massage modalities (Swedish, deep tissue, etc.).
• Flexible availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform multiple massages per shift.
• Strong communication, organizational skills, honesty, and a guest‑focused mindset.

Pay

$19.00 hourly rate plus commission
